Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) hosted a family day event with the event aiming to promote a positive work-life balance and reinforce the bank’s commitment to employee well-being, in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3 – ensuring healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.
During the event, the bank also launched a campaign, dubbed Sehati for its employees, aimed at fostering a positive and healthy work environment.
BIBD Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Junaidi bin Haji Masri officiated the launch of Sehati.
Sehati, the theme of this year’s Family Day, is about supporting one another, fostering a positive environment and ensuring that the physical and mental wellness of the bank’s employees remain strong.
Over the coming years, as part of the campaign, the bank will continue to organise activities such as wellness talks, runs and other wellness activities.
The event kicked off with a walkathon, which was part of the activities lined up under the campaign. The employees were treated to activities including fun games and prize giveaways.
