Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) clients Lei Cheng Kit, Salwina binti Sepawi, Kamis bin Haji Kassim, Azman bin Haji Jaya and Nur Khalisah binti Buang won BND10,000 each during the first quarterly draw of the BIBD Aspirasi 5 campaign.
Thirty-five others also won BND1,000 each as part of the campaign’s third monthly draw.
BIBD’s Head of Treasury and Global Markets Hazimah Izzati binti Pehin Orang Kaya Johan Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Adanan presented the prizes.
The programme, currently in its fifth cycle, has rewarded over 1,500 winners with total winnings of BND3.4 million. The winners were chosen from a pool of clients subscribed to BIBD Aspirasi with a minimum deposit of BND50 and holding period of 90 days.
The programme was introduced to encourage long-term savings and financial management as well as instil the discipline to save for financial independence.
BIBD Aspirasi is unique as clients can subscribe and redeem through BIBD NEXGEN app and stand a chance to win monthly and quarterly cash prizes as well as BND250,000 at the end of the campaign cycle.
