The Bangladesh High Commission to Brunei Darussalam hosted a movie screening at the lecture theatre of Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) on Sunday as part of the event marking 40 years of Bangladesh-Brunei ties.
The movie screened was titled “The Making of A Nation”, portraying the life and political journey of the Bangladeshis Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Majibur Rahman, released by Indian filmmaker Shyam Benegal in October last year.
Present during the event was the Bangladesh High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam Nahida Rahman Shumona as host.
Among those present to watch the screening yesterday were invited guests as well as members of the diplomatic corps in Bandar Seri Begawan.
