The Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) yesterday announced that areas within three nautical miles (5.56 kilometres) radius of specific locations are declared restricted airspace today, tomorrow and on July 23, 25, 28 and 30.
The restricted airspace will be at Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah today and Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien tomorrow.
The Tutong Community Hall Complex’s field will have restricted airspace on July 23 while the Temburong Community Hall Complex’s field on July 25 and Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien on July 28. Kuala Belait’s Padang Bandaran will have restricted airspace on July 30.
According to the DCA, unauthorised aircraft, including unmanned aerial vehicles (drones), are not allowed to operate in the restricted airspace.
