Association ‘moves forward’ with newsletter

The Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (FABD) launched the first edition of its newsletter – the ‘FABD Moving Forward’ yesterday.

FABD President Haji Feisal bin Haji Eusoff Patail launched the newsletter at the FABD House Lecture Theatre.

The monthly newsletter in English and Malay versions, is available in digital copies.

The FABD president congratulated the editorial team for the initiative and effort in producing the newsletter in a short period – two months following the FABD elections on December 16, 2023.

“The English version of FABD Moving Forward will also be presented to FIFA, the Asian Football Confederation, ASEAN Football Federation as well as to the 211-member National Football Associations within the big FIFA family,” he added.

Haji Feisal said, “The idea to publish the monthly newsletter is warmly welcomed by the FABD, aligning it with our efforts to make football a source of national pride and a symbol of our success. At FABD, we have long considered this idea to connect with our football enthusiasts, both domestically and internationally.” He added that the newsletter also aligns with FABD’s strategic plan and hoped it will receive a positive feedback from the football community.

Haji Feisal noted that February is a particularly significant month for the Sultanate as the country celebrates the 40th National Day.

He added, “Let us all move forward in unison to achieve the set objectives. Let’s all make Brunei football great again. Insya Allah, through ‘FABD Moving Forward’, we will also provide local football information to our FIFA counterparts, updating them on the latest developments and news.” – James Kon
