ASEAN Secretary-General Dr Kao Kim Hourn will lead the ASEAN Secretariat team at the Heads of Civil Service Meeting for the 22nd ASEAN Cooperation on Civil Service Matters (ACCSM) in Bandar Seri Begawan today and tomorrow, the secretariat said yesterday.
Dr Kao will deliver opening remarks, give an update on decisions of other ASEAN meetings relevant to ACCSM and present views on strengthening governments’ strategies on mental health and well-being to achieve work-life balance in the public sector.
In the course of his stay in the Sultanate, Dr Kao will engage in bilateral meetings with Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Civil Service as well as incoming ACCSM Chair Hun Many and United States-ASEAN Business Council President and Chief Executive Officer Ted Osius to capitalise on existing cooperation and discuss future collaboration. – Azlan Othman
