The Brunei Darussalam Red Crescent Society (BRC) announced that it is organising an alms collection at its headquarters on March 10 in conjunction with the upcoming Ramadhan.
The project, named ‘Projek Ikhlas Ke-14 – Menyulam Kasih Ramadhan’, is organised through the society’s Humanitarian Relief Action Group.
Donors can donate daily necessities such as rice, sugar, drinking water, cooking oil, coffee, tea, biscuits and instant noodles through drive-through system at Bunut Post Office’s parking area from 9am to 4pm.
Contributions will be distributed to underprivileged families in all four districts during the fasting month, said the BRC, adding that starting this year, recipients will include families of individuals with mental health issue. – Lyna Mohamad
