Leaders who successfully carry out their responsibilities will be able to manage, administer and maintain trust, with Al- Quran being the main source in applying justice in leadership, Assistant Head of the Media Division at the Islamic Da’wah Centre Pengiran Haji Reduan bin Pengiran Haji Badaruddin said.
“The best leadership focuses on fairness,” he said during a tazkirah on ‘Just Leadership Based on Al-Qur’an’ held to enliven the 142nd Munajat night organised by the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) on Saturday evening.
The event saw the reading of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah led by Acting Director (Administration) at the State Mufti’s Office Haji Saiful Nizam bin Haji Sulaiman from Ar-Rahman Mosque in Kampong Tanjong Bunut.
Officers and staff of the State Mufti’s Office; MoRA workforce and their family members; Institut Tahfiz Al-Quran Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah students and teachers; and congregants of Ar-Rahman Mosque and over 60 mosques, suraus and religious halls also participated. – Azlan Othman
