XINHUA – Afghanistan traded goods worth USD994.2 million from May 21 to June 20, the country’s National Statistics and Information Authority (NSIA) reported on Saturday.
Afghanistan exported goods worth about USD93.3 million while importing goods worth USD900.9 million during the period, the NSIA posted the report on social media.
The Afghan products were mostly exported to Pakistan, India and Iran, and the major sources of imports included Iran, Pakistan and China, the department added.
Fresh and dry fruits including pistachio, pine nut, fig were among the most popular products for export in Afghanistan, according to the NSIA.
