KUALA LUMPUR (ANN/THE STAR) – An 18-year-old male university student tragically fell to his death from the 34th floor of a condominium in Kampung Baru, Kuala Lumpur according to Dang Wangi OCPD Assistant Commissioner Noor Dellhan Yahaya.
He said that the police received a distress call about the incident at approximately 8:17 pm on Tuesday and it occurred on the 34th floor of the 39-floor condominium.
“Two witnesses reported that the victim mentioned retrieving his T-shirt, which had fallen onto the balcony,” said ACP Noor Dellhan.
“He climbed onto a table and then over a fence to reach the balcony. Unfortunately, the victim lost his balance and fell,” he added in a statement on Wednesday.
The victim’s body has been transported to Hospital Kuala Lumpur for a post-mortem scheduled for Wednesday.
