A total of 46 students and 13 teachers from Belait Arabic School were honoured at the school’s Outstanding Student Awards Ceremony for the 2024 Student Progress Examination (PKP/SPE) and Primary School Assessment (PSR) yesterday.
The event at the school’s surau, recognised the students and teachers’ dedication and achievements, while encouraging academic excellence and motivation within the school community.
The ceremony began with a Year 8 student reciting Sayyidul Istighfar and verses from Al-Quran, followed by a welcoming speech by Belait Arabic School Principal Pengiran Hajah Masniah @Nur Amalina binti Pengiran Hussin.
Assistant Director (Corporate Services) at Islamic Studies Department Haslinah Susanti binti Haji Mohd Hassan, the guest of honour, presented the awards.
Officials from the Department of Islamic Studies and the awardees’ parents were also present. – Fadley Faisal
