Ten students of Tunas Jaya PGGMB School Kuala Belait took to the stage and showcased a wide array of skills at a talent show organised by the school committee and its parent-teacher association (PIBG) yesterday.
Mohammad Haydaan bin Mohammad Sofrijan won first place with a score of 85 for performing an interpretive lion dance routine. Dayangku Nur Irdina Sofea binti Pengiran Mohd Abu Hurairah took second place with 77; and Asadel Afuzabin Mohammad Sykrie came in third with 76.
PIBG Chairman Safwan bin Abdullah said the students’ performances are a celebration of their achievements, which will be with them throughout their life journey, and that their parents and teachers will support them every step of the way.
Brunei Malay Teachers Association (PGGMB) General Secretary Haji Mustapha bin Haji Masri, PGGMB Financial Secretary Haji Juned bin Haji Ramli and Deputy General Secretary Haji Yahya bin Haji Mirasan attended the event. – Daniel Lim
