A ‘Bergotong-Royong for Paraplegic and Physically Handicapped Association (PAPDA)’ cleaning campaign was held in Kampong Kiarong on March 10.
The initiative, organised by the Council for Welfare of Persons with Different Abilities (MKOKU) in collaboration with Brunei Youth Council (MBB) and Green Brunei, aimed to ensure the association to have a safe and comfortable space to operate in.
Over 50 volunteers, including students from Seri Begawan Religious Teachers’ University College, Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University and Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan Science College participated in the campaign.
The event also garnered support from various groups, highlighting the community’s solidarity towards aiding the differently-abled.
