Some 51 donors contributed to the blood banks in a campaign organised by MINI Brunei in collaboration with Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) in conjunction with World Blood Donor Day yesterday.
“It is an incredible opportunity for the MINI community to demonstrate our commitment to helping others. Together, we can make an impact on the lives of those in need,” said QAF Auto General Manager Alisa Khoo during the event that saw participation of MINI owners, MINI Brunei staff and the public.
“MINI Brunei believes it is crucial to continue the effort to help save lives through the simple act of blood donation. This also helps sustain an adequate blood stock in our blood bank,” she added.
This was the second blood donation drive organised by the company as part of its corporate social responsibility effort. Last year’s event saw 43 successful donations. World Blood Donor Day falls on June 14.
