The Brunei-Muara District Office held a meeting with team managers yesterday for the upcoming Inter-Ministry Darts Tournament in conjunction with the 31st Civil Service Day 2024 organised by the Brunei-Muara District Office and run by the KBT Darussalam Darts Club.
This year’s tournament will see the participation of 73 teams in the men’s doubles open category with 97 people taking part in the men’s singles open category.
The tournament will be held for three days from tomorrow to November 24 at Sport Hub, Annex C, Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in Berakas.
The tournament aims to foster the spirit of friendly cooperation and strengthen friendships between all ministries through darts, in addition to introducing darts among civil servants and promoting darts in Brunei Darussalam and as a result highlighting darts players in the country. Acting Assistant Brunei-Muara District Officer Haji Md Khairul Sirajul Fikri bin Haji Jamaluddin in his capacity as the Deputy Co-Chairman of the Inter-Ministry Darts Tournament in conjunction with the 31st Service Day 2024 chaired the meeting.
The ceremony started with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by a welcome speech from the chairman and then an explanation from KBT Brunei Darussalam Darts Club and continued with the draw session. – Fadhil Yunus
