The Rotary Club of Bandar Seri Begawan, in collaboration with Bright World Optics, held an eye screening campaign at Pai Yuek School, Temburong District, recently.
The initiative saw 61 students screened, with 20 identified as requiring further vision care attention.
The comprehensive screening session, which commenced at 9am, marks a significant step towards enhancing student healthcare in the Temburong District.
“The initiative represents our ongoing commitment to community health services, particularly in addressing vision care needs among school-age children,” stated the Rotary Club of Bandar Seri Begawan. “Early detection of vision issues is crucial for implementing timely interventions and ensuring optimal academic performance.”
