The Brunei Council on Social Welfare (MKM) donated BND1,500 to 30 orphan students at Anthony Abell College in the spirit of the holy month of Ramadhan.
MKM President Mohd Yusof bin Shaik Abdul Halim handed over the donation to the college’s deputy head of administration Almisuhardi bin Haji Rohani.
MKM is wholly funded by public donations and runs various continuing projects to help underprivileged students, including providing daily breakfast to some 300 students from primary to tertiary levels, assisting with student fees, as well as providing laptops to students in need. – Fadley Faisal
