The second batch of pilgrims returned from Saudi Arabia on Thursday at 8.23am, reuniting with their families at the Brunei International Airport after a month-long journey to complete the haj.
Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman; Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof; and Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar greeted the pilgrims on arrival.
Among the returning 250 haj pilgrims were haj Management Officers (Administration and Medical), pilgrims from Darussalam Services Sdn Bhd, and officers from At-Taqwa Travel Tours Sdn Bhd.
