Some 20 orphans in Kampong Kiulap, Kampong Kiarong and Kampong Menglait received donations during a ceremony at Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah yesterday.
Advisor of Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Takmir Committee, Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Utama Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Yahya bin Begawan Mudim Dato Paduka Haji Abu Bakar was present.
This year, BND11,648.95 was collected, derived from proceeds donated by the congregants of the mosque through the orphan fund for Kampong Kiulap, Kampong Kiarong and Kampong Menglait.
