Sixteen individuals recently completed the LiveWIRE Leadership Camp held at the Trandie Marina Resorts in the Temburong District.
Universiti Brunei Darussalam, Universiti Teknologi Brunei Politeknik Brunei (PB) and Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE) Agrotechnology Campus and officers from Al-Islah Centre, Narcotics Control Bureau, Prime Minister’s Office, Prisons Department at the Ministry of Home Affairs, and Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah attended the three-day-two-night programme, which aimed to instil and nurture leadership values.
The camp featured seven sessions, designed to offer a diverse and comprehensive learning experience. Participants engaged in individual work and experiential learning, as well as group sharing sessions where they explored personal attributes, shared personal values, and made self-declarations to achieve their leadership aspirations.
“The camp allowed me to test my soft skills, and learn effective communication styles,” said camp participant Atifuddin @ Amir Mamduh bin Momin.
“I also learnt a lot about leadership during the camp. This experience has helped me developed myself both professionally and personally.”
