Radio Television Brunei (RTB) celebrated the contributions of its audience during the Prize Presentation Ceremony for the 2023/2024 Audience Survey Lucky Draw, held at the RTB Broadcasting Complex on Saturday.
The event underscored the broadcaster’s appreciation for public engagement and its commitment to enhancing content quality.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by welcoming remarks from Head of RTB’s Research and Development Division Lim Kim Dien.
In her speech, Lim highlighted the critical role audience feedback plays in shaping RTB’s programming strategies and aligning them with viewer preferences.
A key moment of the event was the presentation of prizes to 15 lucky draw winners, handed out by Acting Director of RTB Pengiran Haji Ismail bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad Kifli.
The ceremony also saw the attendance of RTB’s Management Committee, officers, and staff, symbolising a shared dedication to broadcasting excellence.
The 2023/2024 Audience Survey, conducted from May 1 to August 31, forms a vital part of RTB’s efforts to engage the public and gather insights into audience preferences. The initiative attracted widespread participation, reflecting strong community trust in RTB’s commitment to delivering quality programming across television, radio, and digital platforms.
Survey findings provide valuable data on audience engagement, expectations, and media consumption habits, helping RTB assess its content’s effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
