Some 120 junior players attended a Football Festival organised by Dash Football Academy (DFA) Football Festival at the Rimba Secondary School Field on Sunday.
The festival, open to DFA players, started with a football competition involving players across four categories aged four, eight, 12 and 16 years.
Dash Football Academy founder and head coach Pengiran Mohd Shahrom bin Pengiran Haji Ismail said the meet aimed to strengthen friendships among players, coaches, parents and guardians as well as local businesses.
The festival also sought to provide exposure to DFA players before participating in local and international competitions, while also increasing public awareness of the importance of providing support and encouragement to players at the grassroots level. – Fadhil Yunus
