‘Hope in the Middle of Difficulties: Allah the Almighty Will Not Burden His Servant Beyond His Capability’ delivered by Assistant Professor Dr Kamaru Salam bin Yusof was a highlight during the 10th Ziarah Mahabbah Programme (PZM-10) in Kampong Menunggol from February 14 to 16.
Themed ‘Prioritising Caring, Creating Dreams’, Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) organised the programme in collaboration with Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD).
A souvenir presentation was held to honour the speaker, BIBD representatives, the village head and the Kampong Menunggol Mosque imam.
The programme included a mosque cleaning campaign, sports activities with students from Nakhoda Abdul Rashid Menunggol Primary School, motivation sessions and a Khatam Al-Quran ceremony.
A highlight was the donation of cash and basic necessities to five selected families on February 16.
The event concluded with a Doa by UNISSA student Muhammad Syahmi Aiman bin Asrol. – Lyna Mohamad
