Youths join virtual Japanese exchange programme

The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS), through the Youth and Sports Department, has selected 20 youths to represent Brunei for the JENESYS2022 Online Programme.

JENESYS2022, themed “Japanese Food, Food Safety”, is being held online until January 24. It is a youth exchange programme organised and sponsored by the Japanese government to establish bilateral relations and friendship, and to promote culture, traditions and understanding of the Japanese way of living.

During the seven-day programme, representatives will participate in activities including food company observation by Kewpie Corporation, Kobe Factory; virtual school exchange with Kurashiki Amaki High School, Okayama; virtual visit to Osaka Convention and Tourism Bureau; and virtual home visit.
