Workshop focuses on sustainability in businesses

A sustainability workshop by Baiduri Bank at the Baiduri Community Space at the bank’s headquarters for its clients and employees yesterday, aimed to highlight the pivotal role of sustainability in businesses and ignite a collective commitment to driving and accelerating sustainability transformations across various industries.

Over 150 employees from across Baiduri Bank and its subsidiaries as well as 30 banking clients attended the workshop, demonstrating their interest and commitment.

The workshop drew a mix of staff from both frontline functions, such as sales and customer service, and support functions including human resources and risk management.

The workshops were conducted by Schneider Electric Sustainability Business Client Manager Associate Principal Bess Ng, Senior Sustainability Consultant Sofia Tyebally and Sustainability Analyst Gunjita Jain.

One of the key highlights from the workshop was the significance of adopting sustainability as a core business value that not only benefits the environment but also drives long-term profitability and resilience.
