PUJA Academy Sdn Bhd, in collaboration with Solmax Geosynthetics Asia Sdn Bhd and ATH Chevron Sdn Bhd, hosted a webinar ‘Soil Investigation and Result Interpretation for Geotechnical Analysis with Case Studies’ on Zoom.
Some 61 participants gained knowledge on geotechnical analysis and innovative engineering solutions.
The webinar featured guest speakers Ir Dr Lee Lin and Ir Albert Lim, who shared their expertise on the subject matter. The importance of ground investigations for safe and efficient construction was explained with examples, and how the data collected is used in geotechnical design and analysis. Case studies on the use of geotextile tubes in hydraulic and marine engineering were shared, where their applications in major projects in the region were outlined.
The webinar offered attendees a deeper understanding of both soil investigations and geosynthetics, knowledge essential for professionals seeking to design for foundations and soil protection schemes.
