The Public Works Department (JKR), Ministry of Development yesterday informed the public on water supply disruptions or low water pressure at Jalan Setia Pahlawan area in the Belait District and its surroundings from 8am until the works are completed.
The disruption is due to repair works on a leaking 180-millimetre diameter PE water pipe on Jalan Setia Pahlawan.
Meanwhile, a new water pipe installation is currently being carried out at Sibulu Water Tank, Lakiun Water Tank and near Simpang Bokok Temada from 8am to 2pm today.
Areas, including Mukim Bokok, Jalan Sibulu including RPN Kampong Rataie up to Kampong Buda-Buda, Jalan Bokok Temada, and Jalan Kampong Batu Apoi up to Labu Control Post and its surroundings, will experience low water pressure or no water supply.
The department asked the public to be prudent in the use of water and to contact Darussalam Line 123 for the supply of clean water through tankers or to lodge any complaints.
