Work to replace the valve on the clean water pump at the Layong water treatment plant in Tutong District started at 9pm yesterday until the work is completed, the Public Works Department (JKR) informed yesterday.
Residents in affected areas, including Kampong Binturan (Tutong Kem area), Pekan Tutong, Kampong Penanjong to Kampong Keriam, Kampong Serambangun, Kampong Bukit Beruang and Kampong Telisai, may experience low water pressure or no water supply, especially in high areas.
The JKR sought public cooperation to be prudent in water consumption and to contact Darussalam Line 123 for clean water supply through tankers or for any complaints regarding clean water supply.
