Walkathon raises funds for technical education

The Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE) organised a walkathon to raise funds for technical education programmes at the Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien in the capital yesterday.

The activity is part of IBTE’s fundraising campaign for 2024.

Deputy Minister (Energy) at the Prime Minister’s Office Haji Mohamad Azmi bin Haji Mohd Hanifah was the guest of honour in his capacity as the Chairman of IBTE Governing Board.

The 3.2-kilometre walkathon started and finished at the Taman.

The proceeds from the fundraising campaign will be channelled into teaching and learning purposes as well as enhancing the welfare of IBTE’s students.
