SHAH ALAM (ANN/THE STAR) – E-commerce platform founder Datin Vivy Yusof and her husband, Datuk Fadzaruddin Shah Anuar, are scheduled to face charges in the Kuala Lumpur Special Corruption Court on Thursday, December 5.
This was confirmed by the Chief Commissioner of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), Tan Sri Azam Baki.
“Yes, they will be charged at the Kuala Lumpur Special Corruption Court. The couple is expected to appear in court at approximately 9am on Thursday,” Azam told Sinar Harian on Tuesday.
The charges are reportedly linked to investment losses involving Khazanah Nasional Berhad (Khazanah) and Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) in the e-commerce company FashionValet, amounting to MYR43.9 million.
Last Thursday, the MACC announced that investigation papers regarding the investment losses had been completed and submitted to its Legal Division for further review and consideration.
Investigations uncovered several suspicious transactions linked to the investment losses, which allegedly occurred between 2018 and 2023.
Further updates on the case are anticipated following the court proceedings.
