Kampong Menunggol Village Consultative Council yesterday received 15 tonnes of cement donated by Butra Heidelberg Cement (BHC) Sdn Bhd.
Commercial Manager of BHC Sdn Bhd Clement Lai presented the donation to Kampong Menunggol Village Head Haji Ibrahim bin Haji Osman.
The donation is part of the Infaq Ikhas group’s community outreach project ‘Enhancement of Economic and Tourism-Related Activities in Kampong Menunggol’. The Infaq Ikhlas group is the 30th Executive Development Programme for Senior Government Officials (EDPSGO) participants.
The cement will help the council to repair facilities in the village and kick start economic and tourism-related activities.
