A delegation from the High Commission of Canada in Brunei Darussalam, including High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam Ambra Dickie recently visited Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA). They were welcomed by UNISSA Rector Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Norarfan bin Haji Zainal, who delivered a welcoming speech, followed by remarks from the high commissioner. The visit included a tour of the campus, highlighting various facilities such as the Ibnu Sina Laboratory, okra plantation, Herbal House and Al-Azhar Gallery.
During the visit, the envoy interacted with students from the Faculty of Agriculture and the Halalan Thayyiban Research Centre to learn about their education, activities and ongoing research. – Rokiah Mahmud
