UBD to host talks featuring space experts

Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) will host an event on ‘Shaping a Sustainable Future for Humanity’ at the Senate Room, Chancellor Hall, UBD on August 8 at 2.30pm.

The event will explore Jupiter, Saturn, and their moons, as explored by the minds behind the “Cassini and Jupiter Icy moons Explorer” (Juice) missions and feature a series of talks by scientists from the missions, including Professor Jani Radebaugh, Dr Anezina Solomonidou, and Dr Rosaly Lopes, who are involved in multiple National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and European Space Agency (ESA) projects. The experts will share first-hand experiences and research on the wonders of the outer solar system, providing insights into the exploration of these distant celestial bodies.

The event is open and free to the public and will be an opportunity for space enthusiasts, students, and researchers to gain a deeper understanding of the mysteries that lie within the solar system.

Attendees will have the chance to engage with the speakers through a question and answers panel. Participants must register in advance.
