The Employees Trust Fund (TAP), in its efforts to enhance public understanding of National Retirement Scheme (SPK), organised a workshop at Kampong Bukit, Tutong District yesterday.
The programme was aimed at disseminating information on the benefits of SPK for self-employed and elderly members in the district. SPK is an inclusive retirement scheme that is also extended to members in the informal sector and those aged over 60.
Among the attendees were village heads, who would in turn deliver information and knowledge about SPK to their community members.
Programme attendees also updated their personal information, submitted withdrawal applications, obtained retirement income estimates and registered for TAP’s e-Amanah online service.
The programme will be held at other districts later this year. – Rokiah Mahmud
