“Over two weeks have passed since the get-together ceremony for His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s 76th birthday celebration, the atmosphere is still felt.
“No words can describe the over 35 days of preparations by the participants, coaches and members of the special performance committee”, said gala dinner and appreciation ceremony Chairperson Muhammad Amir bin Haji Umarali in welcoming remarks during appreciation ceremony for committee members and participants of the special performance for the get-together event in Tutong District on Saturday.
The event, at Tutong District Civic Centre Complex main hall, was attended by Acting Tutong District Officer Ajmin bin Haji Meludin who was also the chair of the executive administrative committee for the get-together event in the district.
Muhammad Amir hoped that the event will become an annual tradition to thank individuals involved in the special performance.
The Acting Tutong District Officer also presented certificates of appreciation to committee members, performers and sponsors.
