Seven date trees donated by Lieutenant Colonel (Rtd) Kamaluddin bin Gafar were planted at the Kampong Bebuloh Religious Hall to mark its silver jubilee.
The celebration, held in Kampong Bebuloh, saw Islamic Da’wah Centre Director Haji Abdul Rajid bin Haji Mohd Salleh attend as the guest of honour. In addition to commemorating the hall’s anniversary, the event aimed to strengthen ties among the Muslim and non-Muslim residents of Kampong Bebuloh and foster a spirit of cooperation through various activities.
It also sought to encourage love for the religious hall as a gratitude to Allah the Almighty for providing the place of worship for the village and its surrounding communities.
The event aimed to benefit the local community and promote a spirit of togetherness and environmental stewardship through the tree-planting activity.
Mukim Pengkalan Batu Penghulu Haji Ar’fan bin Haji Yussof/Mohamed Yussuff and Acting Kampong Bebuloh Village Head Md Firdaus bin Haji Md Said @ Samrey were also present at the ceremony which began with the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar, Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by Surah Yaasiin and Doa Kesyukuran. – Lyna Mohamad
