The multi-purpose hall at St John’s School (SJS) was filled with cheers as the Merit Awards ceremony recognised students’ academic excellence for 2024. The awards were presented to Year Level Top Students, Primary School Assessment (PSR) 2024 A-Listers, and Brunei-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level achievers. The SJS Music Society also performed.
The event concluded with the students performing a rendition of Tanah Airku in honour of Brunei Darussalam’s 41st National Day. – Daniel Lim
