Pengiran Isteri Hajjah Mariam Secondary School recently held a ceremony for its Year 11 students for their achievements at the Brunei Cambridge GCE (BC GCE) O-levels 2022 examinations.
Seventy students were presented with awards with 11 receiving outstanding awards.
Nurbazilah Izzati binti Kamarulzaman who was awarded the Highest Achieving Student for her graduating year, highlighted the importance of respecting family, friends and teachers, and to remember to enjoy the journey in achieving goals. The speech served as an empowering session for students and teachers as the graduating batch navigated through the uncertainties of the pandemic during their examination year.
Kampong Serasa Acting Village Head Haji Abdul Hamid bin Haji Zainin and Parent-Teacher Association head Mohd Amirol Bakry bin Haji Ibrahim presented the awards to the students.
