Due to the heavy downpour on September 17, 2024, my son lost control of his car and hit the guard rails along the Jerudong highway and flipped over. Thank goodness for the safety belt and airbag, or there would have been more than a few light bruises.
As he struggled to climb out of the car, three selfless individuals pulled over and rushed towards him to provide assistance. These men – two locals and one expat – even carried him to safety and made sure he didn’t sustain more serious injuries.
My family and I cannot express how grateful we are for the bravery of those men. Their faces are forever etched in our minds. We thank Allah the Almighty for bringing those heroic souls to the scene where my son needed help.
We would also like to applaud the paramedics for their professionalism amid all the weather hazards that day. Like seasoned healthcare providers that they were, they attended to my son with the utmost care.
