Timor-Leste President Dr Jose Ramos-Horta arrived in the Sultanate yesterday evening for a state visit.
His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam is expected to receive in audience the visiting president today.
The two leaders are expected to attend four-eyes and bilateral meetings, followed by a signing of a memorandum of understanding.
A state banquet will also be held at Istana Nurul Iman tonight.
President Dr Jose Ramos-Horta and his delegation are also expected to attend a business engagement with prominent local business leaders and associations.
