The Health Promotion Centre (HPC) organised a programme on Halalan Thayyiban nutrition for senior citizens at the Kampong Perpindahan Lambak Kanan Community Hall recently.
The programme sought to impart knowledge and concepts of halal, food hygiene and safety as well as tips for checking items before making a purchase.
Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali Assistant Lecturer Nor Surilawana binti Haji Sulaiman, who is with the Halalan Thayyiban Research Centre, delivered the talk.
The initiative also aims to support the goals of Brunei Vision 2035, specifically Goal 2: A high quality of life. – Fadley Faisal
