    Symposium, awards recognise educators’ innovation, dedication

    Four Duli Pengiran Muda Al-Muhtadee Billah College (MDPMAMB) lecturers presented their research findings, offering insights across various disciplines to promote collaborative learning during the 6th Educators’ Knowledge Symposium and 3rd Educators’ Achievement Awards at the Student Learning and Services Centre on Monday.

    The event commenced with a welcome address by Chairperson Dr Faridah binti Abdul Hamid, followed by Principal Dayangku Hajah Nooramaliatifah binti Pengiran Haji Ahmad, who underscored the importance of continuous professional development and innovation in the teaching profession.

    Organised by the Teachers Professional Development (TPD) Section, the symposium aimed to foster knowledge-sharing among educators in the Education Specialist Programme, encourage teachers to conduct action research, and enhance awareness of 21st Century educational challenges.

    The symposium concluded with an awards ceremony recognising educators and departments for their outstanding contributions. The accolades included: Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Award 2024; Anugerah Guru Profesional (Professional Teacher Award); Educators Writer Award 2024; Educators Innovation Award 2024; Teachers in Action Award.

    The event reaffirmed MDPMAMB’s commitment to professional excellence, celebrating the dedication and impact of its educators throughout 2024. – Fadley Faisal
