The South Korean Embassy in Brunei Darussalam is accepting applications for the ‘2022 Global Korea Scholarship for Graduate Degrees’ from Brunei nationals interested in furthering their studies in South Korea.
According to the embassy, the scholarship programme is designed to provide higher education in South Korea for international students, promote international exchange in education, as well as mutual friendship among the participating countries.
A total of 1,378 students worldwide including four successful Bruneian candidates have the opportunity to study in Korea under the 2022 GKS Programme for Graduate Degrees.
Applicants must choose their fields of study from the listed programmes in the University Information section provided by participating universities. Applicants should meet the full requirements of the scholarship. Completed application forms must be submitted by hand only to the embassy by March 11.
Documents such as proof of citizenship, certificate of graduation, academic transcript, proof of age (if other than IC and passport) must be authenticated by the Embassy or apostilled before submission.
