Study fair attracts large number of students

The Findlay International Study Fair held recently in Gadong was a success, bringing together aspiring students and university representatives from several countries, providing a platform for students to explore educational opportunities overseas.

With 17 participating institutions, the event showcased an extensive range of educational programmes from alternative routes into university to undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, allowing students to make informed decisions about their future academic pursuits.

University representatives shared through presentations valuable insights into their institutions, courses, fees, scholarships and admissions processes.

To maximise the reach and engagement, Findlay’s study fair organisers live-streamed the presentations into the hall and received positive feedback from students and representatives.

The event was enhanced by the presence of students from the Brunei Students Union in the United Kingdom and Eire who answered questions and shared their personal experiences of studying abroad.

Ministry of Education officers from the Brunei Darussalam National Accreditation Council and the Scholarship Management Department were on hand to answer questions related to higher education.

Their presence highlighted the significance of international education and showcased the government’s commitment to supporting Bruneian students in pursuing global learning opportunities.

Findlay’s Managing Director Sunita Martin said the fair provided a platform that brings together the best of international education to the Sultanate, establishing connections between educational institutions and aspiring students.
