Students off to Malaysia for study abroad experience

Two Bachelor of Halal Science students from the Halalan Thayyiban Research Centre (PPHT), Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA), left for Shah Alam, Malaysia to embark on a one-year study abroad programme at the Management and Science University (MSU) under the At-Tamayyuz Programme (Study Abroad Programme).

Director of PPHT Pengiran Dr Hajah Norkhairiah binti Pengiran Haji Hashim was present at the Brunei International Airport to bid farewell to Hanisah Jazilah Azizah binti Bahrin and Muhammad Khairel Kamaruddin bin Abdul Rahman.

The centre commended the students’ achievements and hoped that their experience at MSU will be fully utilised to develop them into high-quality, reputable and internationally recognised individuals.

The Study Abroad Programme (SAP) is an initiative by UNISSA to provide opportunities for students with broader educational experiences and develop their professional skills, including communication, self-awareness and confidence. – Rokiah Mahmud
