The Brunei Darussalam Sports School yesterday launched its Sports Action Research Presentation version 2.0 at the school’s premise in Kampong Pulaie as a platform to share research findings by coaches and teachers.
The research topics included ‘Enhancing fitness test performance through plyometric training’ and ‘The impact of power and strength in sprinting performance’.
The initiative aims to improve the quality of coaching and contribute to the professional development of sports coaches. Director of Co-Curriculum Education Julaihi bin Haji Mohamad/Mohamat was the guest of honour. Officers from the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and representatives of sports federations and associations also attended the event. – James Kon
