Eleven Brunei students left for the Philippines to participate in the ASEAN-Republic of Korea (ROK) Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Mobility Programme on Saturday.
The programme fully funded by ASEAN-ROK Cooperation Fund will see Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE) and Kolej International Graduate Studies (KIGS) students undergo a three-month training.
The students who left on Saturday were from IBTE – Awangku Izzat Hidayat bin Pengiran Puspa Wali, Muhammad Waíe Raziqien bin Muhammad Wafiuddin and Mohammad Nasrullah bin Roslan. They will join Toyota Motor Philippines School of Technology.
The rest of the students will leave for other ASEAN countries at a later date.
IBTE Central Campus Principal Armi Durani bin Haji Durhman saw the students off at the Brunei International Airport.
