Wargamas Association recently held a 76-times Khatam Al-Quran at RPN Kampong Lambak Kanan Mosque as a special pesambah for His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s 76th birthday celebration.
Deputy Minister (Energy) at the Prime Minister’s Office Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Matsatejo bin Sokiaw was the guest of honour. The ceremony also saw awards presented to 100-year-old senior citizens for their meritorious services to the nation, and the distribution of posters from the Islamic Da’wah Centre.
