The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS) through the Community Development Department (JAPEM) with cooperation from Radio Television Brunei (RTB) as well as Datastream Digital Sdn Bhd (DST), Progresif Sdn Bhd and imagine Sdn Bhd launched the ‘SMS Brunei Prihatin for Orphans Fund’ for 2023 yesterday.
The annual project to raise funds for orphans registered under JAPEM, was officiated by Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad at Digadong Hall at the MCYS building.
The donation through SMS will run from March 17 to June 17.
The public can donate by typing YATIM (no spacing), followed by the amount of donation 1, 5, 10, 15, 20, 50 or 100.
DST and Progresif subscribers can send the SMS to 38111 and imagine subscribers to 39999.
