The Immigration and National Registration Department (INRD) conducted 347 enforcement operations in 2024, resulting in the deportation of 735 foreign nationals for various immigration offenses, according to statistics released by the department on Thursday.
The operations included independent initiatives by the INRF and joint efforts with other agencies, such as the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) and the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).
The department also reported 44 individuals prosecuted in court, 2,849 compound fines issued and BND1,319,700 million collected in fines

The top violations recorded were failure to renew work passes, overstaying, and breaching immigration pass conditions.
